Short hiatus

Posted in Uncategorized at 9:31 am by ewlabonte

I’m sorry I haven’t been able to get a show out in the past two weeks or so. I’ve been involved with something that has been taking up my time. But take heart! I haven’t abandoned this podcast! A new one will come out soon.

    Hi Ed,

Looking forward to new episodes. I think you perhaps may revisit some of the old distros covered in the series, since a lot has happened with most of them.

Looking forward to your next one!

    Mr. Labonte,

I have listened to your podcast ever since Larry Bushey from the Going Linux Podcast informed his listeners about it. If you want to know how I feel about this post, well, I believe you can succeed! But if you need help, like a co-host or something like that, I’ll be happy to help you. My expeience with Linux is, how should I say it? Well, I’m not an expert at Linux, but I can add some of my slightly “newbie-ness” as a twist as I install Linux distros, I’m not a complete newbie (I have some knowledge of the command line and some other things) but I’m not an expert. However, I’m not trying to spam anyone or anything. So I just want to let you know that I am still supporting your podcast and I hope you succeed. Have a nice day, Mr. Labonte, and at least one listener will be waiting. :)

    Mr. Labonte,

I am sure I am just one of many silent listeners that greatly appreciate your time and effort that you put into your audio broadcasts. They have prompted me to try out all these distro’s that have been mentioned albeit thru VirtualBox
My confidence at the command line has greatly improved and i find that working without a GUI is not such a big deal now.
A screencast of your desktop would really be good but like most good things in life they come at a price and I am sure that you have enough on your plate without this extra burdon. Keep up the good work looking forward to future broadcasts. Long Live Open Source

I too have been listening since Day One and am in complete agreement with Emmanuel. You’re doing a great job, Ed. I particularly enjoy your take on these installs.

Take your sweet time, we’ll be here when you return.
